Plastival I Repressing Plastic Waste
Repressing your plastic waste on location, to create products for the locations needs. This was my inspiration to start my graduation project. By using simple ways of sorting plastic waste, shredding it and repressing you will create small waste facilities that also have a purpose of creating small products for the locations needs. This could be used for beach waste plastic, festival waste or even on a bigger scale to help countries that do not have a good waste facility system themselves.
In this social scale I would like to continue working and contributing in my own way. By helping out with cleaning and giving something back from the waste you collect. One of the products that I have made are waste plastic slippers that could be used from the waste around. By using a simple way of remelting plastic back to a new product by using a mold and a heating press you could use this process to create a new and fun way of reusing plastic waste.
